As a sanitation/custodial business, Xtreme Clean is considered essential and will continue operating under the Stay at Home Order. LEARN MORE

COVID - 19 Update

The Governor of New Mexico issued a Stay At Home Order yesterday, March 23, 2020, that all businesses considered non-essential are to close, or employees are to work from home, until April 10, 2020. As a custodial/sanitation business, Xtreme Clean is considered essential and will remain open for business.

During these uncertain times, at Xtreme Clean LLC we understand there may be questions about our services and the steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our customers and employees. We are monitoring communications from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), the World Health Organization (“WHO”), and federal agencies to ensure our procedures are consistent with the latest guidance to contain the spread of COVID-19.

According to the CDC, cleaning is the necessary first step of any disinfection process. Cleaning removes organic matter, salts, and visible soils, all of which interfere with microbial inactivation. The physical action of scrubbing with detergents and surfactants and rinsing with water removes substantial numbers of microorganisms. If a surface is not cleaned first, the success of the disinfection process can be compromised. For more information about the critical importance of cleaning, we encourage you to visit the CDC website.

At Xtreme Clean LLC, we are uniquely equipped to assist our customers with the cleaning of virtually all surfaces in your home or building.

Below are just a few of the steps we are taking to ensure your safety and to do our part in attempting to contain the spread of this illness:

  1. Cleaning Product: For deep cleaning of any surface, Xtreme Clean is applying Benefect Disinfectant for our cleaning processes. Benefect Disinfectant is a plant based commercial product with no synthetic fragrances, dyes or bleach, that kills 99.99% of germs.  This product has also been demonstrated to be a highly effective cleaner of soft/porous surfaces—including Carpet, Rugs and Upholstery—when used in connection with our industry-leading, truck-mounted cleaning equipment.
  2.

  3. Equipment Disinfection Protocol:We also have enhanced our equipment disinfection protocol.  All cleaning equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every job for the health and safety of our employees and to limit any risk of transfer. This process will be repeated at the end of each workday along with a complete cleaning and disinfection of our service vehicles.
  4.

  5. Employee Training & Personal Protective Equipment:We have trained our employees on maintaining appropriate social distance throughout the workday and the critical importance of personal hygiene with a specific emphasis on handwashing before, during and after all jobs.  We also provide our employees with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) where necessary so they can perform their work safely and with confidence.
  6.

  7. Emergency Paid Sick Leave:We have instructed all employees to remain home if they are sick or feeling ill. As an additional incentive to observe these instructions, Xtreme Clean has implemented an Emergency Paid Sick Leave Policy (“EPSL”) for all of our employees to provide additional paid sick leave benefits so our people never have to choose between a paycheck and our collective health and safety.

We understand the concern our customers have during these uncertain times and will do everything we can to provide a safe, deep clean of your home or building.  Call Xtreme Clean today at (505)796-0505 if you would like to schedule a deep clean of your carpet, tile or upholstery.
